Christmas. A chilly, snowy, icy month. Not the best time for an insect hunt. A gang of teens, however, thought differently.
All of them had carried small tongs, torches, wooden sticks, a box with holes in it, and a can of soda. They collected several different queer insects before they caught a glimpse of a rare, red spotted lizard. The lizards were creatures who no one dared to attack. They had toxic saliva and were only found in deserts. The ring leader said “Hey, what’s that lizard doing here ?! “
The lizard pocked its head out again. As it shivered, they drew closer and closer.

This is a super piece of descriptive writing Arnav. You have captured the terror that the lizard felt having shown your readers what the teens were like through you describing what they were carrying. Excellent!
